Strawberry Angel Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. strawberry gelatin
    10 oz. pkg. sliced frozen strawberries
    1 large Cool Whip (lite or regular)
    1 1/4 c. boiling water
    1/2 (10-inch) angel food cake, torn into bits
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
    Stir in frozen strawberries.
    Cool until mixture begins to thicken.
    Fold in Cool Whip.
    Cover bottom of 8 x 10-inch pan with half of the torn cake. Pour over half of the strawberry mixture.
    Make another layer of cake and pour remaining mixture over.
    Refrigerate 4 or 5 hours to set.
    Cut into squares.
