Mandarin Orange Sherbet Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. plain gelatin, softened in 1 Tbsp. hot water
    1/4 c. cold water
    2 (6 oz.) boxes orange Jell-O
    2 c. boiling water
    1 pt. orange sherbet
    2 (11 oz.) cans mandarin oranges
Preparation
    Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water; add plain gelatin and stir until dissolved.
    Add sherbet and syrup from oranges.
    Stir until sherbet is dissolved.
    Chill until partially thickened.
    Fold in oranges and pour into mold.
    Refrigerate until solid.
