Honey Penuche - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2/3 c. sugar
1 c. milk
1/4 c. honey
3 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Combine all ingredients except butter and nuts.
Cook over low flame to 240\u00b0.
Stir just enough to prevent sticking.
Remove from heat; add butter and cool to lukewarm.
Do not stir.
Beat until candy begins to thicken.
Add nuts and pour into greased, shallow pan.
Serves 12.
