Crumb Topped Cherry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (1 lb.) cans tart red cherries
3/4 c. sugar
3 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
9-inch unbaked pie shell
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. mace
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter or margarine
Preparation

Drain cherries, reserving 1 1/4 cups liquid.
Combine 3/4 cup sugar, cornstarch and salt.
Add reserved liquid.
Cook until thick, stirring constantly.
Add cherries, lemon peel and lemon juice.
Pour into pie shell.
