Never Fail Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 c. shortening
    1 beaten egg
    6 tsp. cold water
    1 tsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Sift flour with salt.
    Cut in the shortening with a pastry blender until crumbly.
    Mix in egg, water and vinegar.
    Chill or roll out immediately and fit into pie pans.
    Makes 4 (9-inch) crusts.
    Prick bottoms and sides with fork.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 until golden brown.
    Leftover balls of dough can be wrapped and frozen for use later.
