Sour Cream Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 stick butter
    1 1/3 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sifted plain flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. sour cream
    1 c. mashed ripe bananas (2 medium)
    1/2 to 1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs one at a time.
    Add vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream.
    Add bananas and pecans and mix well. Pour into greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Ice with Caramel Frosting.
