Frosted Chews(Easy) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. Karo syrup
1 c. sugar
1 c. peanut butter
6 c. Special K cereal
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate morsels
1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch morsels

Preparation

Mix syrup, sugar and peanut butter in large pot. Heat until boiling, stirring occasionally. After mixture boils, add cereal and stir hard until mixed. Spread evenly in greased
13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Melt chocolate and butterscotch morsels in double boiler or microwave. Stir until well mixed. Spread evenly over cereal mixture. Let cool, then cut into small bars.
