Savory Tomato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. chopped celery
2 Tbsp. chopped green onions
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 tsp. all-purpose flour
1 (8 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
1 1/4 c. water
1 chicken bouillon cube
2 slices crisp, cooked bacon, crumbled
Preparation

Fry bacon and crumble.
Saute onions and celery in butter. Add flour to sauteed onions and celery.
Place tomatoes, water and chicken bouillon in saucepan and boil.
Add sauteed onions and celery to boiling tomatoes.
Add crumbled bacon.
Cook on low or medium heat for 30 to 60 minutes.
