Banana Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 (3 3/4 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
    5 c. cold milk
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    1 box vanilla wafers
    bananas
    1 c. Cool Whip (from 9 oz. carton)*
Preparation
    *Reserve remaining Cool Whip for topping.
