Black Cherry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. pitted Bing cherries
    1 pkg. orange jello
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
    3 oz. bottle sliced stuffed olives
    1/3 c. lemon juice
Preparation
    Drain cherries, reserving liquid.
    Combine cherry syrup, lemon juice and enough water to make 1 3/4 cups liquid. Heat.
    Pour over jello and stir until dissolved.
    Chill until partially set.
    Add cherries, nuts and olives.
    Pour into mold.
    May also be chilled in a shallow pan and cut into squares.
    Serve on crisp lettuce with mayonnaise.
