Swedish Baked Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (2 lb.) bags dry beans
1/2 lb. brown sugar
1 1/2 (small) jars molasses
2 large chopped onions
3 Tbsp. salt
3 c. cut up bacon or salt pork
little pepper
2 Tbsp. dry mustard
Preparation

Soak beans overnight.
Leave just enough water in the beans so that you can see it.
Add brown sugar, molasses, onions, salt, bacon or salt pork, pepper and mustard.
Add bacon drippings. Bake at 325\u00b0 until beans are done, approximately 5 hours.
If roaster cooks fast, reduce heat.
These beans are baked in a large electric roaster.
I cut this recipe in half for a smaller amount.
When cool, you can freeze them.
