Ingredients

1 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. flour
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. hot water
1 tsp. sugar
salt
white pepper
1 1/2 c. diced beets, cooked
Preparation

In a frying pan melt butter.
Add flour.
Cook for a minute. Add vinegar, hot water, sugar and seasonings.
Cook until the consistency of thick cream.
Add the beets to this sauce.
Lightly mix and cook for two minutes or until thoroughly heated.
