Ingredients

1/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. vinegar
1 Tbsp. margarine
1 (No. 2) can cut or small whole beets
Preparation

Mix in a saucepan sugar, cornstarch, salt, vinegar, margarine and 1/3 cup liquid, drained from beets.
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Add beets.
Let simmer 10 minutes.
