Meat Ball Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 c. small bread crumbs
    1/4 c. onion, finely chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can Campbell's tomato soup
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can Campbell's beef broth
    1 (1 lb.) can sliced carrots, drained
    1 (1 lb.) can whole white potatoes, drained
    1 (8 oz.) can small whole white onions, drained
Preparation
    Mix beef, egg, onion and salt; shape into 24 meat balls.
    Brown in shortening in a skillet; pour off fat.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Cook over low heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Serves 6.
