Jemima'S Old-Fashioned Yellow Cake With Lemon Glaze - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 sticks butter
    6 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar (4 c.)
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar until smooth.
    (May take 5 to 10 minutes if butter is cold.)
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
    Add flour, salt, vanilla and lemon extract; beat well.
    Pour in a 10-inch greased tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
