Blondies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. brown sugar
    2/3 c. shortening
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 eggs
    1 c. nuts
    8 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
    8 oz. pkg. butterscotch chips
Preparation
    Melt shortening, then add brown sugar.
    Mix well and cool. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well.
    Add dry ingredients; mix well.
    Add chips and nuts.
    Pour on greased cookie sheet and spread evenly.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes.
    Cool in pan, then cut in squares.
