Batter Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. margarine (1 stick)
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. lukewarm water
2 pkg. active dry yeast
2 beaten eggs
1/4 c. wheat bran
5 1/2 c. flour
Preparation

Heat milk and margarine together.
Bring to a scalding level (do not boil).
In a large bowl, add sugar and salt.
In a small bowl, pour in lukewarm water.
Add yeast to lukewarm water.
Let stand until yeast is soft (about 10 minutes).
Pour milk and margarine mixture into large bowl with sugar and salt.
Let set until mixture is lukewarm.
Add beaten eggs, mix well.
Add yeast. Stir in wheat bran.
Add 5 1/2 cups flour.
Let dough rise 2 hours.
Stir down with spoon, about 3 times, while dough is rising.
Spoon bread dough into greased muffin tins.
Let rise 2 hours.
Bake about 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown at 350\u00b0.
