Apple Upside Down Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 medium apples, peeled and sliced
1 box gingerbread mix
whipped cream
Preparation

Melt butter in bottom of a 9 inch square cake pan.
Combine brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle on bottom of pan.
Arrange apples on brown sugar mixture.
Prepare gingerbread mix as directed and pour over apple slices.
Bake as directed on gingerbread mix.
Invert on serving plate.
Garnish with whipped cream.
