Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. yellow cornmeal
1 c. sweet milk
1 c. whole kernel corn
1 medium onion, chopped
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 stick margarine
2 c. grated cheese
1/2 c. sliced jalapeno peppers
sliced Hillshire sausage
Preparation
-
Mix cornmeal, milk, corn, onion, eggs, baking powder, and margarine.
Pour half of the mixture into skillet.
Sprinkle cheese, add jalapenos and sausage on top.
Pour remainder of batter over cheese, jalapenos and sausage.
Cook.
