Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

1 box German chocolate cake mix
1 (14 oz.) Kraft caramels
3/4 c. butter
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 c. pecans
1 c. chocolate bits
Preparation

Prepare cake mix.
Pour half of it in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Melt Kraft caramels with butter and evaporated milk.
Pour over cake.
Sprinkle with pecans and chocolate bits over caramel.
Top with remainder of cake mix. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
