Chicken Noodle Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    3 cans cream of chicken soup
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 (12 oz.) box egg noodles, cooked
    4 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. diced chicken or turkey
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    4 Tbsp. buttered bread or cracker crumbs or canned onion rings
Preparation
    Brown onion in butter. Stir in soup, milk and 1 1/2 cups cheese.
    Heat until cheese melts. Blend with noodles.
    Pour into a buttered 3-quart casserole dish.
    Sprinkle on crumbs or onions and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
