Wild Rice Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. uncooked wild rice
2 c. diced, cooked chicken
1 c. water chestnuts, sliced and drained
lettuce leaves
seasoned salt (optional)
1 1/2 c. halved green grapes
3/4 c. light mayonnaise
1 c. cashews (optional)
Preparation
-
Cook rice according to package directions, omitting salt or substituting seasoned salt.
Drain well.
Cool to room temperature.
Spoon into large bowl.
Add chicken, grapes, water chestnuts and mayonnaise.
Toss with fork.
Cover and chill.
