7 Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, shredded
    1 onion, diced
    1 box frozen peas
    1 lb. bacon, drained and crumbled
    6 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
Preparation
    Layer ingredients in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Cover and seal with 2 cups mayonnaise.
    Sprinkle over mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons sugar and 1 pound Cheddar cheese (shredded).
    Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours or overnight.
