Battletown Baked Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 small yellow summer squash
    1 small onion, diced
    1/2 c. cream
    1/4 c. salted crackers, crushed
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Slice squash and then boil in salted water until done.
    Drain and mash.
    Saute onion, cream and crackers in 2 tablespoons butter and add to squash.
    Pour into greased casserole and top with butter dots and a few bread crumbs.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for about 1/2 hour or until firm.
    Makes 10 to 12 portions.
