White Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 large eggs
    1/2 lb. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 3/4 c. regular (all-purpose) flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 lb. candied cherries
    1 lb. candied pineapple
    4 c. pecans
    1/2 oz. (1 Tbsp.) vanilla
    1/2 oz. (1 Tbsp.) lemon extract
Preparation
    Chop nuts and fruit in medium pieces.
    Dredge with 1/4 cup of the flour.
    Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
    Add well beaten eggs and blend.
    Sift remaining 1 1/2 cups flour and baking powder together.
    Mix into egg and butter mixture and blend well.
    Add vanilla and lemon extracts and mix well.
    Add fruit and nuts and blend well.
    Grease 10-inch tube pan, line with paper and grease again.
    Pour in batter.
    Place in cold oven and turn oven on 250\u00b0. Bake 3 hours.
    Cool in pan on rack before removing.
