Puffball Or Quick Tea Donuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. melted fat
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 to 5 c. flour
Preparation
    Beat eggs.
    Add sugar and milk.
    Sift dry ingredients together and add to liquid.
    Beat thoroughly and add melted fat.
    Add enough flour to make batter stiff enough to hold a spoon in a standing position.
    Drop by spoonfuls into deep fat at 375\u00b0. Remove when brown and drain on absorbent paper.
    Makes approximately 4 dozen.
