Layered Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head lettuce
1 c. celery, diced
1 c. bell pepper, diced
1 c. chopped green onions
1 c. frozen English peas, drained
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 c. mayonnaise
1 c. Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Wash lettuce and drain well!
Break up and put in bowl.
Layer celery, bell pepper, green onions and English peas.
Sprinkle sugar over peas.
Cover peas with mayonnaise.
Refrigerate overnight or several hours.
Before serving, sprinkle top with grated Cheddar cheese.
