"Sinful" Potatoes Au Gratin(Serves 6) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
    1/4 c. butter, cut in small pieces
    1 1/2 c. heavy cream
    salt and pepper
    1 c. shredded Swiss cheese
Preparation
    Butter\t a
    shallow
    baking
    dish.
    Arrange
    layers
    of potatoes, sprinkling
    each layer with salt, pepper, cheese and butter.
    Pour cream over the assembled dish.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour or until tender.
