Ingredients

1 lb. butter
1 lb. Philadelphia cream cheese
4 c. flour
powdered sugar
various jams or preserves for filling
Preparation

Mix the first 3 ingredients into a dough (by hand).
Store in refrigerator overnight or until ready to bake.
Roll 1/4 of the dough at a time on floured table into a thin sheet.
Cut into approximately 3 1/2-inch squares.
Put a teaspoon of preserves in center of each square.
Fold diagonally over preserves.
Press in edges.
Roll and form into crescent shape.
Bake on cookie sheet at 325\u00b0 until very light brown (approximately 8 to 10 minutes). Remove from cookie sheet onto wax paper.
Sift powdered sugar onto warm cookie.
After cooling, store in plastic covered container. Makes about 8 dozen crescents.
