Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1 c. salted butter, softened
2 large eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation

Combine flour, soda, and salt with whisk.
Set aside.
Use an electric mixer to blend sugars.
Add butter and mix to form a grainy paste.
Blending at medium speed, add eggs and vanilla (do not overmix).
Add flour mixture and chocolate chips at a low speed.
Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet at 300\u00b0 for 22 to 24 minutes or until golden brown using rounded tablespoonfuls, 2-inches apart.
