Ingredients

2 crust pie shells
8 large tart apples, sliced thin
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation

Fill pie shell with sliced apples.
Mix sugar, spices, salt and lemon juice and sprinkle over the apples.
Dot with butter. Moisten pie crust edges with water.
Fit top crust over the apples and seal the edges of the pie.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes. Make sure you cut slits in the top of the top pie crust.
