Pineapple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. shortening
1 3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar; stir in eggs. Sift flour, soda and baking powder together and add alternately with buttermilk to shortening mixture.
Add vanilla extract.
Bake in two 8-inch greased and floured cake pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
Add pineapple frosting.
