Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. rice (regular, not precooked or instant)
    7 c. milk (or 2 qt. less 1 c.)
    3 or 4 eggs
    1 c. milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix sugar, rice and milk; boil 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Set aside.
    Beat eggs; add leftover 1 cup milk plus vanilla.
    Add to milk mix, slowly stirring.
    Cool and serve topped with cinnamon or nutmeg.
    Do not boil after egg mixture is added.
