Zesty Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 lb. lean ground beef
    2 large cans Brooks chili hot beans and sauce
    1 chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1 large can stewed tomatoes
    1/2 to 1 qt. tomato juice
    chili powder to taste
    salt and pepper as desired
Preparation
    Brown meat with onion and green pepper.
    Drain.
    Add chili beans, stewed tomatoes and tomato juice until desired consistency is reached.
    Use less juice for thicker chili.
    Add chili powder to taste.
    Simmer for 1 hour.
    Serve with shredded Cheddar on top.
