Chili Pepper Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese (8 oz.)
    1/4 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 c. chopped canned chili peppers
    assorted crackers
Preparation
    Advance preparation:
    Bring Cheddar cheese to room temperature.
    Heat milk to boiling; pour over cheese in mixing bowl.
    Beat with electric mixer until nearly smooth.
    Add butter and garlic; beat well.
    Stir in chopped chili peppers.
    (Mixture will be thin.)
    Chill well.
    Serve with crackers.
    Makes 1 1/2 cups spread.
