Rainbow Popcorn Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 pkg. fruit flavor gelatin (any flavor)
    1/2 lb. salted peanuts (optional)
    9 to 12 c. popped popcorn
Preparation
    Combine syrup and sugar and bring to boil.
    Remove from heat. Add gelatin and stir until dissolved and add peanuts if desired and pour over popcorn, mixing well.
    Shape into 1 1/2-inch balls. Makes 4 dozen.
