Cream Puffs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
3 to 4 eggs (depends on size of eggs)
1 c. boiling water
1 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Add shortening to water and bring to boil.
Add flour all at once and stir vigorously until ball forms in center of pan.
Cool slightly.
Add unbeaten eggs, one at a time, beating after adding each egg.
Mixture should be very stiff.
Shape on oiled cookie sheet by dropping from spoon or using pastry bag and tube.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Reduce temperature to moderate 350\u00b0 and continue baking for 30 minutes or until done.
(Test one.)
Cool. Fill with whipped cream, custard pudding.
Makes 2 dozen small puffs.
