Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1 1/4 c. sour milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 c. wheat flour (sift before measuring)
    4 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Grease a loaf bread pan.
    Sift flour, then measure 3 cups.
    Add the other dry ingredients to the flour. Beat the egg in a mixing bowl.
    Add the sour milk and sugar.
    Mix. Add the dry ingredients into the egg mixture.
    Add the nuts. Beat until well mixed.
    Pour into a greased bread pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour or until done.
    Variation:
    Add dates, raisins or bananas.
