Parker House Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yeast cake
    1/8 c. warm water
    1/2 tsp.salt
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. scalded milk
    4 Tbsp. shortening
    2 eggs, well beaten
    2 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Dissolve the yeast in the warm water.
    Scald the milk. Add sugar, shortening and salt.
    Cool to lukewarm. Add yeast and eggs. Stir in flour.
    Let rise 1 1/2 hours.
    Stir down.
    Let rise a second time. Roll out and cut with cutter.
    Fold over.
    Bake 15 minutes at 400\u00b0.
