Old Fashioned Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. sugar
    1 large can evaporated milk
    2 sticks butter
    12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
    1 pt. marshmallow cream or 24 marshmallows
    1 c. peanut butter (optional)
    chopped pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Put sugar, milk and butter in pan and boil for 9 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Add chocolate and marshmallows; stir until completely melted.
    Add peanut butter (use less if you want; only a hint of taste; I use crunchy peanut butter).
    Pour into greased pan.
    Makes 5 pounds.
