Stuffed Green Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large green peppers (stem and seeds removed)
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 c. bread or cracker crumbs
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1/2 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed tomato soup
    1/2 soup can water
Preparation
    Cook peppers in boiling water for 5 minutes.
    Drain.
    Mix ground beef, bread or cracker crumbs, salt, pepper and chopped onion.
    Add tomato soup.
    Stuff peppers with meat mixture.
    Stand upright in small baking dish.
    Pour over remaining soup, diluted with 1/2 soup can water.
    Bake, covered, 45 minutes and uncovered 15 minutes longer at 350\u00b0.
    Makes 6 servings.
