Braised Beef With Noodles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. chuck beef in 1 1/2-inch cubes
2/3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/4 c. cooking oil
1 large onion
2 c. V-8 juice
dash of Worcestershire sauce
2/3 c. green peas
salt and pepper to taste
noodles
2 Tbsp. butter
1/3 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Roll meat in flour, salt, pepper and paprika.
Brown in heated cooking oil, using only enough to prevent sticking in pan.
May only need 1/2 amount listed.
Put meat in roasting pan.
Cut onion in eighths, add to meat.
Add V-8 juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
Cover.
Bake at 350\u00b0
for 1 hour or until meat is tender.
Add peas and cook 10 more minutes.
Serve over cooked, buttered noodles.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Serves 4.
