German Peach Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream shortening.
    Gradually add 3/4 cup sugar.
    Beat well. Add eggs, one at a time.
    Beat well.
    Sift flour with baking powder and salt.
    Add milk.
    Blend batter together and pour into square glass pan.
    Top with peaches.
    Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    (Can use any fruit.)
