Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large fryer, cut up
    salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    2 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. milk
Preparation
    Boil chicken in 3 quarts water with 1 tablespoon salt and pepper until tender.
    Remove all except bony pieces.
    Sift flour, baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt into mixing bowl.
    Add 1 cup milk.
    Drop from spoon into boiling chicken broth.
    Boil uncovered for 10 minutes.
    Add 1 cup milk; bring to a boil.
    Serve with chicken.
    Makes 6 servings.
