Old-Fashioned Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. unsalted butter
2 c. sugar
3 eggs, beaten
2 c. unbleached flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. sour cream
1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0 and grease a 10-inch Bundt pan.
Allow butter to
soften.
Using an electric mixer, cream butter until fluffy and light yellow.
Slowly add sugar and then eggs one at a time beating continuously.
Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Stir in small amounts of flour mixture alternately with sour cream.
Add vanilla.
Pour batter into Bundt pan and bake 45 to 60 minutes until cake tester comes out clean.
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
