Tamale Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. hamburg
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped green pepper
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 (12 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
1/2 c. chopped ripe olives
1 clove garlic, minced or 1/8 to 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 to 3 tsp. chili powder
pepper to taste
Preparation

Cook meat, onion and green pepper until meat is done.
Drain. Add sauce, corn, olives and seasonings.
Simmer 25 minutes.
Add cheese, 6 ounces of sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded; stir until melted.
Turn into a 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
