Spicy Hot Black-Eyed Peas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    17 oz. can black-eyed peas
    16 oz. can whole tomatoes, undrained and chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 bell pepper, chopped
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1/2 tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 1/2 tsp. liquid smoke
    3 slices bacon
    parsley
Preparation
    Cook bacon until crisp.
    Remove bacon and saute onions and bell peppers, drain.
    Crumble bacon and reserve for later.
    Mix remaining ingredients and heat to boiling, then simmer for 20 minutes.
    Pour mixture into serving dish; sprinkle with bacon and parsley over top.
    Serves 8.
