Oatmeal Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. quick cooking oats
    1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/4 c. cooking oil
Preparation
    Sift together the flour, baking powder baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
    Combine oats, brown sugar and buttermilk in a bowl. Let stand for 10 minutes.
    Add egg and oil; mix well.
    Add dry ingredients and stir just enough to moisten.
    Spoon batter into greased or paper-lined muffin cups, filling 2/3 full.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until done.
    Makes 12 large muffins.
