Creamy Potato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 slices bacon
1 large stalk celery, chopped
1 onion, chopped
4 small carrots, sliced
8 small potatoes, peeled and cubed
6 c. milk
salt and pepper to taste
1 c. sour cream
2 Tbsp. flour
Preparation

Fry bacon in soup pot until crisp; drain, reserving 2 tablespoons pan drippings.
Saute celery, onion and carrots in reserved pan drippings over medium heat until tender.
Add potatoes.
Cook until slightly browned, stirring frequently.
Add milk.
Bring to a boil; reduce heat.
Add salt and pepper.
Cook over low heat for 30 to 40 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Mix sour cream and flour in small bowl.
Stir into soup.
Cook over low heat 5 minutes or to desired consistency.
Sprinkle with crumbled bacon.
