Pineapple Buttermilk Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, do not drain
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 (6 oz.) box orange jello
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip, frozen
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix pineapple and sugar.
    Heat to boil, stirring constantly. Remove and stir in jello.
    Cool and then add frozen Cool Whip and nuts.
    Chill in 8 x 12-inch pan.
